🇷🇺RUSSIA URGES WEST TO LIFT SANCTIONS ON AFGHANISTAN

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called on the West to lift sanctions on Taliban-led Afghanistan and take responsibility for the country’s post-conflict reconstruction.

Lavrov emphasized the need to return Kabul’s seized assets and remove restrictions that have been in place for over 2 decades.

Russia is also considering removing the Taliban from its “terrorist” blacklist to boost cooperation with Kabul.
