#Iran to Provide ‘Mirror Response’ to Any #US Actions Against Tehran – #IRGC

Any actions of the United States against Iran emanating from any country will be met with a “mirror response,” Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Sunday.

“The US terrorist regime has been warned that any support and involvement in harming Iran from anywhere in the world will result in a strong and mirror response from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In addition, the US bears responsibility for Israel’s actions,” the IRGC said in a statement, as quoted by the Tasnim news agency.

The IRGC also reportedly claimed that its attack “successfully destroyed” targets in Israel.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said that Tehran intends to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity and interests by abiding by the principles of the UN Charter.

#Mideast Escalation Won’t Have Major Impact on Oil Market – Ex-
@IMF
Official

The escalation of violence in the Middle East between Iran and Israel should not have a major impact on the global oil market, but a brief spike in prices could be expected this week, Hossein Askari, ex-IMF Executive Board member and special adviser to the Saudi Arabian finance minister, told Sputnik.

“No, I don’t believe so,” Askari said when asked if Saturday’s attacks will impact the global oil market. “Yes, there will be a price spike this week but it will be temporary. The reason I say this is that oil exports will continue as Iran will not attack tankers. Iran wants to export its own oil and not to alienate the world with higher prices.”
