60 new disabled soldiers every day…The Israeli occupation acknowledges the number of injuries among its soldiers

The Occupation Ministry of War acknowledged that more than 7,200 soldiers have been injured since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.

The Ministry’s Rehabilitation Division said that 7,209 injured people had been admitted to the rehabilitation ward since October 7, and about 30% of them, or 2,111 injured people, had various mental reactions (psychological crises), according to the (official) Broadcasting Corporation.

It reported that 95% of those infected in total are reserve soldiers under the age of 30.

According to the Rehabilitation Division, the Rehabilitation Department is preparing to receive about 20,000 new patients by the end of 2024, including those suffering from psychological symptoms, including anxiety, post-traumatic depression, and difficulties in adaptation and communication.

In this context, the Hebrew “Wala” website said that Tel Aviv records 60 new disabled people every day due to the war it is waging in the Gaza Strip.

The website also indicated that the army admitted that it had disabled more than 2,000 soldiers, policemen, and security personnel since the beginning of its war on Gaza more than 6 months ago.

According to the occupation army’s data on its website on Wednesday, 604 officers and soldiers have been killed and 3,219 wounded since October 7.

The Israeli war on Gaza left more than 110,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly, according to Palestinian and UN data.

The occupation continues the war despite the issuance of an immediate ceasefire resolution by the Security Council, as well as despite its first appearance before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing “genocide.”
