Zelensky cautioned that 10,000 North Korean troops are being prepared to support Russian forces in Ukraine, potentially escalating the conflict into a “world war.”

In a meeting with EU leaders and NATO defense ministers, Zelensky presented his “victory plan,” which includes inviting Ukraine to NATO and seeking permission for longer-range missile use against Russia.

While NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte acknowledged North Korea’s support for Russia, he did not confirm the troop deployment.

Zelensky has revealed that North Korea is not only supplying weapons to Russia but also sending personnel to support Russian forces in Ukraine.

“The alliance between Russia and regimes like North Korea is growing stronger,” Zelenskiy said, calling for more support from Ukraine’s defense partners in response to this escalation.

The Kremlin dismissed reports of North Korean involvement, calling them “fake news.”
