🇷🇺🇺🇦 RUSSIA TO KYIV: DON’T RUIN VICTORY DAY OR ELSE

Putin announced a 3-day ceasefire around Russia’s big WWII Victory Day celebration on May 9, where world leaders — including China’s Xi — are expected to attend.

Zelensky said he’s open to a pause, but wants 30 days instead of 3, and warned that Ukraine can’t guarantee anyone’s safety in Moscow during an ongoing war.

Russia’s Security Council Deputy Chairman, Dmitry Medvedev:

“(Zelensky) understands that in the event of a real provocation on Victory Day, nobody will be able to guarantee that Kyiv will live to see May 10.”
