WHY YOU SHOULD NOT EAT YOUR COMPUTER…

Frenchman Michel Lotito, known as “Monsieur Mangetout,” was a true metal-muncher, famous for consuming a computer among many other metal objects, from bicycles to light aircraft parts.

Lotito’s unique stomach, with extra-thick lining, allowed him to survive what would be toxic or deadly for most people.

He broke his “meals” down into tiny chunks and drank plenty of mineral oil to help with digestion, which was crucial given the toxic mix of lead, mercury, arsenic, and fiberglass in his unusual diet.

For everyone else, however, munching on motherboards would be a fast ticket to metal poisoning and serious injury.

Eating electronics means sharp components can tear through soft tissues, and the toxic metals would quickly disrupt normal body functions.

While Lotito defied biology, the rest of us should keep laptops for browsing—not for brunch.
