Specifically, this pertains to the Global Digital Compact (containing an agreement on a roadmap for global AI governance through the establishment of an AI Scientific Panel) and the provisions on disarmament, where the pact underscores recommitment to “the goal of the total elimination of nuclear weapons” and expresses “serious concern at the increasing number of actions that are contrary to existing international norms and non-compliance with obligations in the field of disarmament, arms control, and non-proliferation.”
