🇬🇧 UK’S DEBT SOARS TO £17.4BN

The UK government borrowed £17.4bn in October, far exceeding expectations, as soaring debt interest payments deepened the financial deficit.

This marks the second-highest October borrowing since records began in 1993.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves faces mounting pressure, with debt interest hitting a record £9.1bn.

Despite attempts to stabilize finances, tax receipts fell short, and public sector spending continued to rise.
