U.S. ECONOMY GROWS 2.8% IN Q3 – CONSUMERS DRIVE GROWTH

The U.S. economy expanded at a 2.8% annual rate in Q3, fueled by strong consumer spending.

Despite predictions of a slowdown, consumers keep the economy resilient with a 3.7% rise in spending.

Economists are cautiously optimistic but predict growth may slow in Q4 as effects of potential port strikes, and business stockpiling wear off.
