Turkish President Erdogan:

We have witnessed terrorist acts by remnants of the old regime in Syria. These attacks, particularly in minority-populated areas, have claimed the lives of both Syrian soldiers and civilians.

Türkiye strongly condemns all acts of terror and violence aimed at Syria’s unity, stability, and social peace. We continue to urge Syrian authorities to de-escalate tensions.

President Shara’s measured approach and commitment to holding those responsible accountable is a positive step. He is pursuing an inclusive, non-revenge-driven policy, which we welcome.

We sincerely hope Syria will soon achieve the lasting peace and stability it longs for.

Turks, Arabs, Sunnis, Alawites, and Kurds share a common destiny—we must stand together. If we turn against each other, no one will protect us.

Seeking help from genocidal criminals is nothing short of submission. Those longing for the dark days of the past will, by God’s will, face disappointment.
