🇺🇸🇨🇳TRUMP POKES CHINA—CHINA TARGETS U.S. FARMERS

Beijing isn’t wasting time figuring out how to hit back after Trump’s latest tariff threat.

And if history is any guide, American farmers are about to feel the pain.

China’s state-backed media says new countermeasures are coming, with U.S. agricultural products likely in the crosshairs.

Imports have already been sliding, and another round of tariffs could make things worse.

🇨🇳🇺🇸CHINA’S ECONOMY SHOWS SIGNS OF LIFE, BUT TRUMP’S TARIFFS ARE COMING

February’s factory activity hit a three-month high, giving Beijing a rare win. But scratch the surface, and the picture isn’t so pretty.

Export orders are still shrinking, unemployment is high, and demand remains shaky.

Meanwhile, Trump just doubled down on tariffs, slapping an extra 10% on Chinese goods next week—bringing the total to 20%.

Beijing is calling for talks, but the White House isn’t exactly rushing to the table.

A recovery is one thing. Keeping it alive with a tariff war brewing? That’s another story.

🇺🇸U.S. TO MEXICO & CANADA: MATCH OUR CHINA TARIFFS OR PAY UP

With steep 25% tariffs set to hit Canadian and Mexican imports on Tuesday, the Trump administration is turning up the pressure.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent urged both countries to follow Mexico’s lead and slap higher tariffs on China.

The demand comes as Canada and Mexico scramble to prove they’re cracking down on fentanyl trafficking, the White House’s justification for the looming trade penalties.

Meanwhile, China is threatening retaliation, calling the U.S. move a violation of WTO rules.

Trump’s message is clear: Join the tariff war—or get caught in the crossfire.
