Steve Witkoff, Trump’s Middle East envoy, said he will travel to the region to join an inspection team ensuring both sides follow the terms of the Gaza ceasefire.

The team will monitor areas in and around Gaza to ensure compliance during the ceasefire’s six-week first phase.

In an interview with Fox News, Witkoff credited Qatar for helping broker the agreement, calling it a “critical player” in the deal.

Witkoff:

“We believe we can put Qatar on the path to normalization with Israel.”
