🇮🇱 TENSIONS RISE IN ISRAEL’S WAR CABINET OVER HOSTAGE NEGOTIATIONS

Netanyahu and Minister Gantz are at odds amid critical negotiations for the release of hostages.

Despite a united front during the initial War Cabinet discussions, Netanyahu held a separate call with top security officials, excluding Gantz, to reconsider previous agreements.

This move sparked confrontation with Gantz accusing Netanyahu of bypassing him.

Gantz:

“How do you discuss the changes without me? If the war cabinet is unnecessary, then let’s say so.”

Netanyahu:

“You’re wrong; I believe the discussions are thoughtful.”

Gantz:

“Where is the discussion about the southern fence? About the strategic goals of the war? You are not having any discussion.”
