Admiral Tang Hua, Taiwan’s Navy Commander, said China is implementing an “anaconda strategy” to pressure Taiwan, claiming Beijing is poised to blockade the island at any moment.

“They’re applying relentless pressure, trying to exhaust us,” Tang states, adding that the People’s Liberation Army seeks to provoke Taiwan into mistakes and create justifications for a blockade.
