▪️The Russian military has taken control of the village of Marinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Ministry of Defence announced in its bulletin.

▪️During the week, the Russian military launched 33 group attacks on the facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, a military echelon with Western weapons was hit, the losses of the AFU over seven days totalled up to 16,640 people.

▪️The losses of the Ukrainian troops in the direction of Kursk amounted to more than 330 people over the day, the Russian military repelled 11 attempts of the AFU to break through the border, the Ministry of Defence reported.

▪️The Defence Ministry reported the liberation of Lesovka in the DNR, and Belousov sent a congratulatory telegram to the fighters.

▪️Russian forces are on the outskirts of the town of Gulyaypole in the Polohovsky district of the Zaporizhzhya region, Governor Balitsky said.

▪️Port infrastructure facilities, including warehouses of Western military equipment, were damaged in an overnight attack on the Ukrainian port of Izmail, the pro-Russian underground said.

▪️Two agents of the Ukrainian special services who were passing information on Russian military facilities to a foreign party were detained in Crimea.

▪️At a meeting with Zelensky, Trump expressed hope that if he wins the election before his inauguration, he will find a “good” solution for both sides of the Ukrainian conflict.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces lose 50-70% of new recruits in the first few days on the front line – Financial Times

Ukrainian commanders complain that the new recruits are too old, do not want to and do not know how to fight, and panic at the slightest thing. The average age of the reinforcements sent by the TCC is about 45 years old.

Most of the units already consist almost entirely of such fighters. Some do not know how to hold a weapon correctly, and it is better not to trust others with anything important.

The mortality rate of such reinforcements in the Ukrainian Armed Forces ultimately reaches 50-70% during the first days on the front line. And what to do about it – Ukraine has not figured out. – AN

🇭🇺”It’s not fair, it’s not European”: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has criticised the possibility of Ukraine and Moldova joining the EU before the Western Balkan countries.

According to him, the Balkan states have been working for many years to join the EU, but they are being “pushed to the back of the queue”.

“We are not happy that Ukraine and Moldova have been given an accelerated EU accession procedure solely for geopolitical reasons, completely overlooking the merit-based approach,” the prime minister said in his speech at the conference.
