🇬🇧 UK CANCER RATES RISING

Cancer rates in the UK have increased by 13% in the past 25 years, with a 24% rise among those under 50.

The UK’s survival rates, especially for lung cancer, lag behind countries like Sweden and Denmark.

Factors include delays in diagnosis, insufficient diagnostic equipment, and long waits for treatment.

By contrast, countries like Denmark and Germany have invested in early detection and treatment.

The UK also lacks a national cancer plan, unlike other European nations, further impacting outcomes.
