🚨 MOZILLA UNDER FIRE FOR SECRETIVE USER TRACKING FEATURE

Mozilla is facing backlash after privacy advocates discovered a new tracking feature in Firefox called “Privacy Preserving Attribution” (PPA).

The feature tracks user behavior across websites without asking for permission and is turned on by default in Firefox 128, violating EU privacy laws, according to complaints filed by NOYB.

Mozilla’s move has drawn comparisons to Google’s controversial Privacy Sandbox, sparking concerns about data privacy in one of the most trusted browsers.
