Israel has proposed a single-phase deal to bring an immediate end to the war in the Gaza Strip.

1.⁠ ⁠Hamas releases ALL of the remaining hostages.

2.⁠ ⁠Israel allows Yahya Sinwar and other senior Hamas officials to leave Gaza and seek asylum elsewhere.

In other words, Hamas surrenders and exits the Gaza Strip, and the war is over.

The new proposal is for a single, comprehensive deal where all hostages, whether alive or dead, are returned to Israel at once.

Palestinian prisoners would be released from Israeli prisons, and the mediators would also commit to disarming Gaza and moving Hamas leaders to a third country.

In exchange, Israel would agree to withdraw from Gaza, with the mediators setting up a multinational force to oversee the agreement’s implementation, including disarming Gaza.

Gal Hirsch, one of the negotiating team, told the families of hostages that the proposal was presented last week in a meeting with U.S officials from the White House and State Department.

He has announced an urgent meeting at the Ministry of Defense for a large number of ministers and officials.

It comes after 10 Israeli soldiers were wounded in a Hezbollah rocket attack this morning.
