Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced that Tehran is prepared to resume nuclear negotiations during the United Nations General Assembly if “other parties are willing.”

Talks to revive the 2015 nuclear accord, stalled since the U.S. withdrawal in 2018, could see renewed efforts this week.

Araqchi emphasized the complexity of restarting talks amid current international tensions, including U.S. sanctions and regional conflicts.
