Gen. Mousavi named Chief of Staff, replacing Bagheri.

Gen. Shadmani takes over Khatam al-Anbiya HQ.

Gen. Pakpour now leads the IRGC after Salami’s death.

All appointments came with promotions, and a call for “swift, revolutionary action” in response to threats from the “malicious Zionist regime.”

Iran has appointed General Amir Khatami as the new commander of its army, following the deaths of senior military leadership in Israeli strikes.

At a press briefing, IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin confirmed that Israel has killed at least six senior Iranian commanders and nine nuclear scientists.

The slain officials include:

🇺🇸🇮🇱 TRUMP: MAYBE BLOWING STUFF UP WILL HELP GET A DEAL…

Trump says Israel’s strikes on Iran might actually boost chances for a nuclear agreement.

“I don’t think so. Maybe the opposite. Maybe now they will negotiate seriously.”

He still believes a deal is possible: “

They were close, they should have done it. Maybe now it will happen.”

Meanwhile, Israel admits the bombing won’t fully stop Iran’s nukes — but hopes it sets the stage for a U.S.-led deal.

So: strike first, negotiate later?
