Israeli naval forces reported a possible drone sighting off the Mediterranean coast near Caesarea, raising concerns about a potential Hezbollah surveillance attempt targeting Netanyahu’s nearby beach house.

The ship’s radar system detected the unidentified aircraft, but other monitoring equipment failed to corroborate its presence.

In response, the Israeli Air Force scrambled fighter jets to the area, which also failed to locate any drone.

Netanyahu’s office said it was a false alarm, which the IDF confirmed, noting that radar systems occasionally misidentify bird flocks or other objects as potential threats.

LOT EXTENDS SUSPENSION OF FLIGHTS TO TEL AVIV

The Polish airline has extended its suspension of commercial flights to and from Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, until at least Tuesday.

At least 17 Palestinians, including eight children and four women from the same family, were killed in an IDF airstrike in the central Gaza town of Zawayda, according to health officials.

The IDF cited nearby Hamas rocket fire as the reason for the strike.

The attack occurred ahead of Blinken’s visit to Israel amid diplomatic efforts to end the fighting.

The IDF also reported the deaths of two soldiers in Gaza and two militants in the West Bank.
