Water shortages are leaving over 600,000 Cubans, including more than 30,000 in Havana, without access to water, as the country grapples with crumbling infrastructure and a lack of fuel.

Officials blame the growing crisis on outdated systems and ongoing economic struggles, worsened by U.S. sanctions and mismanagement.

Isolated protests have erupted as tempers flare in the sweltering heat, adding to the country’s already dire shortages of food, electricity, and fuel.
