Harvard’s Francesca Gino, known for researching why people cheat, was caught tampering with data in her research on dishonesty.

A 1,300-page Harvard Business School investigation report revealed altered data in 4 different studies to support her hypotheses, marking “multiple instances of research misconduct.”

Gino’s defense in a $25 million lawsuit against Harvard claims there is no evidence of wrongdoing, despite the university’s push for severe action and paper retractions.
