After the Moscow attack, France raised its security level to “Emergency Threat.”

This week, French intelligence officials met to discuss security for the Olympics and their extravagant opening ceremony featuring a flotilla of 80 boats on the Seine.

Polls show that 80% of the French are concerned about terrorism, but most still support an open games atmosphere.
