Daniel Abed Khalife faces charges of passing sensitive UK information to people connected to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and allegedly escaping prison.

Prosecutors say Khalife gathered intelligence between 2019-2022, left a fake bomb at his barracks, and sought to act as a “double agent.”

Khalife claims his actions aimed to benefit UK security and denies supporting Iran, stating his family’s hostility toward its government.

The trial at Woolwich Crown Court continues.
