🇺🇸DEFENSE SEC AUSTIN: NO EVIDENCE “AT THIS MOMENT” OF HEZBOLLAH CASH BUNKER UNDER BEIRUT HOSPITAL

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated that they “have not seen evidence” supporting Israel’s claim of a Hezbollah bunker filled with cash and gold under Al-Sahel Hospital in Beirut:

“We have not seen evidence of that at this moment. But, you know, we will continue to collaborate with our Israeli counterparts to gain better fidelity on exactly what they are looking at.”

Austin emphasized that the U.S. will continue collaborating with Israel to verify the situation.

Lebanese officials, including the hospital’s director, have dismissed the allegations as false, inviting the Lebanese Army to inspect the site.
