Ha’aretz: “They would call him ‘the Christian’ to insult him. They would repeatedly beat and humiliate him in jail. In the course of his abduction at the break of dawn from his East Jerusalem home, the black-clad [Israeli] police officers beat him until he bled.”

In 2022, Israelis forcefully entered the residence of a 16-year-old Christian Palestinian, injuring him by breaking his nose and a tooth after he declined to undress in front of them.

Subsequently, they apprehended Shadi Khoury who was detained and subjected to physical abuse for 41 days in an Israeli prison, because he was accused of stone-throwing.
