🇨🇳 CHINA’S NEW HYPERSONIC DRONE STRIKINGLY SIMILAR TO 1960’S U.S. D-21
Launched from a B-52 in 1971, the US Air Force’s D-21 drone, designed for high-altitude, high-speed reconnaissance, crashed in China during the 1960s.
Its design seems to have resurfaced in China’s WZ-8 drone, capable of reaching up to 160,000 feet at speeds of Mach 6.
Revealed in 2019, the WZ-8 not only mirrors the D-21’s capabilities but also its physical design, marking an evolution in Chinese aerial espionage technology.
