🇨🇳 🇪🇺 CHINA TO EUROPE: RARE EARTHS? RELAX, JUST FILL OUT THE FORMS.

China’s basically saying: “Yeah, we control 90% of rare earths. No, we’re not freaking out. You shouldn’t either.”

If Europe wants the stuff that powers their cars, appliances, and tech, Beijing says just submit the right paperwork and chill.

Germany’s not exactly buying the stunt, calling the whole thing shady and bad for business.

So yeah, it’s less “no big deal” and more “giant global power move trying to weaponize a deal, but with a clipboard.”

🇨🇳🇪🇺 CHINA TO EU: TALK MORE, RESPECT OUR RED LINES

China claims it’s ready to boost communication with the EU ahead of the next leaders’ summit, but wants Brussels to stay out of its “core interests.”

Foreign Minister Wang Yi told EU Council President Antonio Costa that bullying and unilateralism are ruining global order, without naming names, but the hint wasn’t subtle.

They also touched on Ukraine, with Beijing once again pushing for peace talks instead of more weapons.

🇨🇳🇪🇺 CHINA ISSUES RARE EARTH EXPORT LICENSES TO EU AHEAD OF JULY SUMMIT

China has started issuing rare earth export licenses to EU companies, reversing course after Trump’s April tariff escalation.

The move follows pressure from European governments and signals a push to smooth relations before next month’s China and EU leadership meeting.

Beijing’s Commerce Ministry says approvals are being “accelerated in accordance with the law.”

Key supplier JL MAG confirmed it can now ship magnets to the US, EU, and Southeast Asia.

China still controls over 80 percent of global rare earth supply.

🚨🇪🇺 EU BUSTS MASSIVE CHINESE IMPORT FRAUD RING – €700M IN TAXES GONE…

Operation Calypso just exposed a wild cross-border scam: criminal networks sneaking in undervalued Chinese goods – like e-scooters, shoes, and textiles- through Greece’s Port of Piraeus, then ghosting €700 million in EU taxes.

The trick? Fake invoices, bogus VAT IDs, and warehouses run like gated mob compounds.

Goods were “officially” sold to phantom companies, but actually hit black markets across France, Spain, and Italy.

Authorities raided 101 sites in 4 countries, arrested 10 suspects (including 2 customs officers), and seized €5.8M in cash, crypto wallets, 7,000+ e-bikes, and enough fake documents to paper the Great Wall.

All roads (and receipts) lead back to Chinese-run logistics hubs that handled everything – from import to sale to money laundering back to China.
