“Pakistan again violates the Ceasefire Agreement by firing Artillery in Bhimber Gali in Poonch-Rajauri area.

Indian Army is responding appropriately in a calibrated manner.”

The Bhimber Gali sector in Jammu & Kashmir lies along the volatile Line of Control (LoC), where India and Pakistan have maintained a fragile ceasefire since February 2021.

INDIA STRIKES PAKISTANI TERRITORY: India’s Ministry of Defence officially confirmed launching “Operation Sindoor,” conducting precision strikes against what it describes as terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. According to the government press release, nine sites were targeted in an operation described as “focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature” with no Pakistani military facilities among the targets.

Pakistani officials reported multiple explosions and power outages in Muzaffarabad, with a military spokesman claiming India fired missiles at three locations including Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad, and promising retaliation “at a time and place of its own choosing.” Following the strikes, further clashes between Indian and Pakistani forces were reported along the LoC.

Speaking to media in Lahore, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif issued a stern warning:

“We will sink them if they tried to stop water of Pakistan.

India will cost heavily for its any planning to occupy the land of Pakistan.

We are not sitting idle. They are dreaming. Let them dream because there is no restriction on dreaming.

Misadventure or aggression from India to occupy any piece land of Pakistan will cost the enemy great loss.

Collision with India is inevitable. It may ensue any time.”
