Trump told NBC News that he is considering a 90-day extension for TikTok’s Chinese parent company, ByteDance, to sell the app before facing a U.S. ban.

Trump said he hasn’t made a final decision but called the extension “most likely” and hinted he may announce it Monday—his first day in office.

The Supreme Court upheld the law forcing TikTok’s sale, but Biden’s administration refused to enforce it, leaving the decision to Trump. TikTok CEO Shou Chew is expected at Trump’s inauguration as the platform fights to stay in the U.S.
