Most Israeli forces have reportedly withdrawn from the Philadelphi Corridor, referred to in Egypt as the Salah al-Din axis, within the last few hours, according to an Egyptian source speaking to Al-Arabiya TV.

This corridor, a demilitarised buffer zone stretching 14 km in length and 100 meters in width, runs along the entire border between Egypt and Gaza. Earlier in the summer, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that a truce agreement would not involve an Israeli pullout from this area.

Additionally, in the Netzarim axis, Israeli army has occupied 49 km2 (13.5% of Gaza), destroying all residential buildings. In the Philadelphi axis, Israeli army has occupied 12 km2 (3% of Gaza), destroying at least 6,932 buildings to maintain a permanent presence.
