🇨🇭SWITZERLAND DECLINES TO BAN HEZBOLLAH

The Swiss government rejected calls to ban Hezbollah, stating current laws require UN sanctions for such actions.

Unlike Hamas, banned after the October 7, 2023 attacks, the Federal Council deemed it “inappropriate” to enact a law specifically targeting Hezbollah.

Parliament will review the decision in its December session while finalizing a 5-year Hamas ban.
