BREAKING: QATAR FOREIGN MINISTER OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Foreign Minister;

“In cooperation with France, we brought about 11 tons of medical aid into Gaza, including medicines for Israeli hostages.

Mediation efforts are continuing in Gaza and much of the information published is false.

We have repeatedly stressed that the best way to deal with disputes with Iran is through dialogue.

Qatar was and still believes that ending tension in the region is linked to ending the war in Gaza.

We stress that there must be a real push towards a peace process that has the Palestinian issue at its core.

We support all regional efforts aimed at reducing the escalation in the Red Sea.

The escalation taking place in Gaza affects mediation efforts to end the crisis.

We are engaged in serious negotiations and discussions between the two sides of the crisis in Gaza, but the situation is changing there.”
