Japan’s Coast Guard reports the projectile could be a ballistic missile, with further details yet to be confirmed.

North Korea is stepping up security measures for Kim Ju Ae, daughter of leader Kim Jong-un, due to increasing threats of assassination.

The DPRK has begun using electronic counter warfare equipment to jam communications and detect drones, as Kim’s public activity has increased by 60% compared to last year.

In North Korean media, Kim Ju Ae is referred to as “Hyangdo” which translates to “illuminating the way forward in the revolutionary struggle” and is a reference to leaders and their successors.

She is reportedly undergoing intensive training in all areas important to effective state and military command.
