Due to heavy fog, a Mi-171 helicopter carrying Iranian President Raisi and Foreign Minister Abdolahian made an emergency “hard landing” in Azerbaijan.

The delegation was on an official visit.

The helicopter landed about 600 km from Tehran, accompanied by 2 others that landed safely.

A helicopter carrying Iranian President Raisi experienced a “hard landing” in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province.

The incident occurred near Jolfa, close to the Azerbaijan border.

Rescuers are struggling to reach the site due to poor weather.
