BREAKING: HAMAS OFFICIAL STATEMENT

‘On the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, we value and commend all positions and efforts supporting and endorsing the rights of our people and their just cause. We salute all popular activities and marches and call for their continuation and persistence through all possible means of pressure, in every city and global square, until the aggression on the Gaza Strip ceases.

•The adoption of this day by the United Nations General Assembly as a day of solidarity with our people serves as a reminder of the historical responsibility that falls on all UN institutions and the international community. They must work seriously and effectively to stop the aggression and exert all forms of pressure to end the ongoing genocide.

•We call on the masses of our Palestinian people across the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the occupied territories to escalate all forms of resistance and national struggle against the Zionist occupation.

We urge that the upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday be designated as global days of solidarity and uprising. We call on all forces, parties, labor unions, professional associations, and student groups in the Arab, Islamic, and free world to mobilize through solidarity marches and massive events in all cities, capitals, and squares to demand an end to the Zionist aggression and the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.’
