“The Court of Justice’s acceptance of the genocide case brought by South Africa, and the court’s rejection of (Israel’s) request to dismiss it, is an important step on the path to justice for our people, and it means the beginning of the process and procedures for trying (Israel) for its crimes and the possibility of it escaping accountability. It is an important beginning in holding Israel and everyone who supports it accountable for the genocidal crimes they commit against our people.

The court’s adoption of the demand to take urgent measures to protect the civilians of our people and to stop all actions that lead to killing and extermination is considered an acknowledgment by the court of the extent of the crime committed by the terrorist occupation in the Gaza Strip.

We call for immediate action to oblige the occupation to implement the ruling of the International Court of Justice, to confront any Zionist attempts to evade this entitlement, and to reject any attempts by the American administration, a partner in the crimes of genocide in Gaza, to circumvent the ruling.

We look forward to the International Court of Justice continuing its procedures to try the Zionist occupation entity for the full-fledged crime of genocide, which continues against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and whose severity did not stop or diminish even after the start of the trial sessions, but was accompanied by crude Zionist positions. The court is attacked, and American positions continue to wash the hands of the occupation from the blood of innocent children, women, and the elderly.”
