The U.S. Embassy in Colombia announced the closure of its visa section starting tomorrow in the country, in retaliation for President Petro’s decision to prevent the entry into the country of two flights carrying deported Colombian migrants.

Trump announced:
• 25% tariffs on ALL Colombian exports to the United States, which will DOUBLE to 50% in one week
• A Travel Ban and immediate Visa Revocations on the Colombian Government Officials, and all Allies and Supporters.
• Visa Sanctions on all Party Members, Family Members, and Supporters of the Colombian Government.
• Enhanced Customs and Border Protection Inspections of all Colombian Nationals and Cargo on national security grounds.
• EEPA Treasury, Banking and Financial Sanctions to be fully imposed.
“We will not allow the Colombian Government to violate its legal obligations with regard to the acceptance and return of the Criminals they forced into the United States,” Trump said

JUST IN: Colombia caves to Trump’s pressure and agrees to accept deported migrants after a brief standoff. President Trump threatened tariffs, a travel ban, visa revocations on Colombian officials, and enhanced customs inspections on all cargo. “These measures are just the beginning,” Trump said. “We will not allow the Colombian government to violate its legal obligations with regard to the acceptance and return of the Criminals they forced into the United States!”
