🇺🇸🇮🇱 BREAKING: BLINKEN URGES ISRAEL TO SCALE BACK IRAN STRIKE PLANS

During his visit to Israel, U.S. Secretary of State Blinken asked Netanyahu to “decrease the scale” of their planned retaliatory strike against Iran.

Defense Minister Gallant emphasized that U.S. support after the strike would boost regional deterrence.

The U.S., through Blinken, is pushing Israel to scale back its planned strike on Iran, aiming to prevent a regional conflict. However, Iran is not a passive player; it has cultivated a strong network of proxies like Hezbollah, the Houthis, and militias in Iraq and Syria, making it capable of retaliating indirectly, destabilizing Israel and its allies without engaging in direct warfare. Tehran’s asymmetric warfare tactics, including cyberattacks and proxy strikes, give it leverage and make it difficult for Israel to predict and control the fallout.

Israel, though militarily powerful, faces mounting vulnerabilities due to the prolonged conflict. Its continued operations against Palestinians and involvement in regional skirmishes have drawn international criticism, portraying Israel as a cruel occupier, further isolating it diplomatically. This erosion of global support and the toll of ongoing military campaigns weaken Israel’s strategic position. Prolonged warfare has also strained its military resources and public morale, making Israel susceptible to internal pressure and diminishing its ability to sustain an extended conflict with Iran.

In this scenario, Iran’s strategic patience and ability to exploit Israel’s weaknesses, both domestically and internationally, could shift the balance, forcing Israel to rethink its long-term strategy, particularly as U.S. support wavers in the face of global calls for restraint.
