🇷🇺 Last week, part of our team had the extraordinary privilege of visiting Donbass—a journey that was both humbling and profoundly eye-opening.

We explored Donetsk, paying tribute at museums and memorials, and ventured to Mariupol to witness the remarkable progress in the city’s restoration efforts. In Volnovakha, we met with refugees and heard their heartbreaking yet powerful stories of resilience.

We also spent time with the Española volunteer battalion and the Maksim Krivonos battalion—composed of former AFU soldiers now serving with the Russian military. Their perspectives offered a unique lens on the ongoing conflict.

For a brief moment, we felt the reality of Donetsk’s decade-long plight. While there, a HIMARS missile breached Russian air defenses, striking near our hotel—an unsettling reminder of the ongoing dangers faced daily by the people of this region.
