ALIGARH December 30: Dr. Mohd. Tauqir Alam, Biochemistry Section, Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University, delivered a talk in an online training programme on “Nanomaterials: Biosynthesis, Characterization and Applications,” organized by Mayfair College, Moradabad.

He explored the eco-friendly synthesis of nanoparticles and the chaperone-like properties of green silver nanoparticles in inhibiting protein aggregation. He emphasized that green nanotechnology bridges ancient wisdom and modern medicine by enabling eco-friendly synthesis of nanoparticles for therapeutic use. It aligns with traditional practices that rely on natural remedies while addressing modern challenges like drug delivery and protein aggregation.

This sustainable approach minimizes environmental impact, enhances biocompatibility, and fosters innovation in healthcare solutions, he added.
