🚨🇵🇸🇮🇱 GAZA CEASEFIRE: HAMAS REMAINS IN CONTROL DESPITE ISRAELI OFFENSIVE

In the wake of a 15-month war, Hamas remains firmly in charge of Gaza, overseeing rubble clearance, patrolling streets, and guarding aid convoys under the ceasefire.

Its administration, with 18,000 employees, continues restoring basic services, such as clearing roads and repairing water infrastructure.

Despite Israeli strikes targeting its leadership and infrastructure, Hamas still dominates Gaza’s security and governance.

Israeli officials, however, view the group’s survival as a threat to lasting peace, with many pushing for renewed conflict after hostages are returned.

The ceasefire’s next phases include negotiating a permanent truce and Israeli troop withdrawals, but questions remain about who will govern Gaza if Hamas’ rule ends.

Proposals include international oversight or a unity government.
