🇰🇷SOUTH KOREAN PRESIDENT DETAINED IN MARTIAL LAW SCANDAL

South Korea’s impeached president, Yoon Suk Yeol, is refusing further questioning after his detention by anti-corruption officials.

Yoon faces accusations of attempted rebellion for declaring martial law and deploying troops to the National Assembly on Dec. 3, sparking the nation’s worst political crisis since the 1980s.

The anti-corruption agency has 48 hours to seek an arrest warrant or release him, while Yoon’s lawyers challenge the legality of his detention. His fate now hinges on the Constitutional Court’s decision on impeachment charges.
