🚨RUSSIA REMOVES “A FAILURE OF A GENERAL” IN SYRIA AFTER ALEPPO SETBACK

Russian war bloggers report that Sergei Kisel, the general overseeing Russian forces in Syria, has been dismissed following an insurgent advance in Aleppo—the biggest challenge to Assad’s rule in years.

Kisel, criticized for past failures in Ukraine, is reportedly being replaced by Colonel General Alexander Chaiko. Blogs claim Syria has become a “sandbox” for rehabilitating underperforming generals.

This comes as Syrian forces recapture towns lost to a coalition of Turkish-backed rebels and Islamist groups, marking the first major insurgent push since 2020.
