🚨🇻🇳VIETNAM APPROVES $67B HIGH-SPEED RAILWAY, DATA, ENERGY LAWS

Vietnam’s parliament just decided to throw a cool $67 billion at a high-speed rail project that’ll turn the journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City into a breezy 5-hour trip by 2035. Because clearly, what Vietnam needs is a way to make its traffic jams even more luxurious.

In other news, they’ve tightened the screws on data privacy, making it harder for your personal info to go on a world tour without your consent.

U.S tech firms are throwing a fit, probably because they can’t play with Vietnamese data like it’s their personal sandbox anymore.
