They described it as surrender.,. “Quds Network” monitors the comments of Israeli officials who expressed their anger at the news of an imminent agreement with Lebanon.

With the frequent news about an imminent ceasefire agreement between the occupation and Lebanon, Israeli officials expressed their anger at the expected agreement, describing it as a major surrender.

The White House said that there is no agreement ready now regarding a ceasefire in Lebanon and that it will be announced when it is achieved, while Channel 13 said that 5 countries will monitor the implementation of the imminent ceasefire agreement between the occupation and Lebanon.

Regarding the agreement, the Minister of Finance of the occupation, Bezalel Smotrich, commented that any agreement would not have a greater value than the signed paper, while the Minister of National Security in the occupation state, Itamar Ben Gvir, said that he would vote against the agreement with Lebanon.

The Minister of Heritage in the occupation state, Amichai Eliyahu, commented: If they ask me about my opinion on the government, I will of course oppose it, and if we delay tactically until the Trump administration, then the agreement may be correct.

While resigned War Cabinet member Benny Gantz called on Netanyahu via X to present the agreement, the residents of the north, the soldiers and the Israelis have the right to know.

Yisrael Beiteinu party leader Avigdor Lieberman said that the Israeli leadership is still in the grip of the same misconception since October 6. Nothing has changed. The agreement being discussed is terrible from Israel’s point of view, and without finding a mechanism to push Hezbollah behind the security zone, I say to all the northern settlers: You have nothing to return to.

Israel Hayom quoted the “Reserve – Victory Generation” movement, which includes hundreds of reserve commanders and soldiers in the occupation army, as saying that any promotion of an agreement that includes the army’s withdrawal from Lebanon is a spit in the face of the northern settlers and the army’s soldiers, and allows Hezbollah to rehabilitate and strengthen itself for the Fourth Lebanon War in a short time.

For his part, journalist Yuval Karni reported on the authority of a senior Likud member: “If Netanyahu had been the opposition leader, he would have demolished the agreement with Lebanon that Netanyahu presented as prime minister.”

Channel 14’s correspondent asked that for months, Netanyahu said that Galant was against the violent fighting in Lebanon and that he was an obstacle to him, and the moment he removed him from the scene, Netanyahu wanted to stop the war there with Hezbollah.

The anger was at its peak among the mayors of the settlements in northern occupied Palestine, which are witnessing daily shelling by Hezbollah, as settlers fled their homes.

Commenting on the news about the imminent reaching of a ceasefire in Lebanon, the head of the Metula settlement council, David Azoulay, said that he calls on the settlers of Metula not to return and to find a place for themselves in the state of Tel Aviv.

Meanwhile, the mayor of the Kiryat Shmona settlement, Avichai Stern, described the agreement as a direct surrender, and said: “Immediately before signing the surrender agreement, I call on our leaders to stop and think about the children of Kiryat Shmona, look into their eyes and do not risk their fate to be the next prisoners. How did we reach this stage from complete victory to complete surrender? Why don’t we complete what we started?! Where will our residents return? To the destroyed city? Without security and without prospects?!”

In turn, the head of the Meta Asher Regional Council in the Western Galilee commented: I ask myself, am I living in a dream or am I hallucinating? Or is the one who makes the decisions in the Israeli government hallucinating? After people were locked in shelters for a year, and after we lost our sanity, now they come to mock us. We will continue to pay the price, because we are the algae of the wall and we are transparent, and we do not count.

The head of the Meta Asher Regional Council in the Western Galilee stressed: As long as people do not feel safe and do not feel secure, more and more families will leave, and the matter will turn against the decision-makers.

Meanwhile, the occupation’s Home Front Command decided to tighten restrictions in settlements near the borders with Lebanon and Syria, fearing a greater escalation with Lebanon before the ceasefire is announced.

Haifa Municipality decided to tighten measures in educational institutions following new instructions issued by the occupation’s home front.

Channel 12 Hebrew announced that the Acre Municipality will announce a holiday in all educational institutions tomorrow.

Yedioth Ahronoth said that following the new instructions of the occupation’s home front, the Nahariya Municipality and the Meta Asher Regional Council decided to close educational institutions tomorrow.
