CRYPTO MARKET SEES $220M LIQUIDATION

We’re down 3% in market cap, dropping from $2.31 trillion to $2.27 trillion—that’s a $40 billion wipeout.

Trading volumes shot up 50% to $99.5 billion, but Bitcoin and Ethereum are still struggling, with BTC at $62,400 and ETH around $2,400.

Liquidations soared past $220 million, mostly wrecking long positions—Bitcoin saw $58.6 million, while Ethereum took a hit at $50.6 million, including a wild $10.97 million ETH liquidation on Binance.

Open interest is down 2%, sitting at $60.9 billion, which usually means less price volatility ahead.
