A survey conducted by the ‘Let Them Be Kids’ campaign found that 70% of people want the age limit for social media platforms to be raised from 13 to 16.

85% want the platforms to be held responsible for preventing harmful or misleading content from being shared.

Following riots in the UK, politicians in Australia are now pushing for tighter restrictions over content.

It comes after Australia’s eSafety commissioner lost her court battle with X to try and impose a global ban on content related to the stabbing of Bishop Mar Mari in Sydney earlier in the year.
