Saudi Arabia’s King Salman, 88, was admitted to the hospital for medical tests due to a high fever.

The royal court has described these examinations as routine, though they come amidst ongoing health concerns for the monarch.

King Salman, who has ruled since 2015, has previously undergone surgery and medical procedures, including gallbladder removal and pacemaker battery replacements.
